OPEN SOURCE: Brings the Global Spotlight to Philadelphia

The City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program and curator Pedro Alonzo have invited Michelle Ortiz to be a part of an exciting lineup of artists from around the world to engage with the people and communities of Philadelphia. Artists include JR, MOMO, Sheperd Fairey, SWOON, Sam Durant, and many more! Open Source: Engaging Audiences in Public Space puts the city in the center of a global conversation about art and social practice. The Open Source artists will create over a dozen new works of temporary public art that explore and illuminate Philadelphia’s diverse urban identity to be celebrated in October 2015.
